Remote Work: Remote Job Description Gridiron IT is seeking a skilled Automation QA Tester to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify testing requirements and deliver high-quality software. Responsibilities
Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications using industry-standard testing frameworks.
Collaborate with the development team to understand application architecture and create effective testing strategies.
Execute automated test cases and analyze test results to identify defects and inconsistencies.
Design and implement continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline the testing process.
Participate in requirements gathering and design reviews to ensure testability of features.
Report and track defects using project management tools, ensuring timely resolution.
Conduct performance testing and load testing as needed.
Mentor junior QA team members and provide guidance on best practices for automation testing.
Stay updated with the latest testing tools, trends, and technologies.
Qualifications
12+ YEARS or 8 year + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as an Automation QA Tester or similar role.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, or TestNG.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and a passion for quality.
Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in API testing and tools like Postman or SoapUI.
Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Clearance Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Required to clear for a Public Trust Clearance Compensation and Benefits Salary Range $50,000 - $95,000/yr (Compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, skills, education, certifications, seniority, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.)
