Threat Tec, LLC, a Veteran-Owned Small Business, has an immediate opening for a Joint National Training Capability (JNTC) Threat Integrator to support Threat Tec's contract efforts for the OE Core Functions at the United States Army's Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC), Deputy Chief of Staff for Intelligence (G-2) at Ft. Eustis, VA. The OE is a composite of the conditions, circumstances, and influences that affect the employment of military forces and bear on the decisions of the unit commander. As an organic, complex system, the OE provides the common framework in which warfighting programs and strategies are conceived, defined, and executed. The TRADOC G-2's mission is to understand, visualize, describe, deliver & assess the OE to reduce risk and prevent surprise; today and into the future 2035+. TRADOC G-2 is the designated Lead for Core Function Operational Environment; the process of developing, verifying, validating, accrediting, and providing OE products and services represents an authoritative, validated OE contextual baseline for TRADOC users and operational forces in the areas of training and training development; education; leader development; concept and doctrine development; and capabilities development, integration, and evaluation. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Provide support to TRADOC G-2's Opposing Forces (OPFOR) Program Management Directorate, including its OPFOR Accreditation and Modernization divisions.
Perform classified research and engage with DoD, Joint, Service, and intelligence entities to stay updated on current and emerging threat capabilities, enhancing OPFOR program modernization.
Actively participate in the Department of the Army (DA)-led Training Transformation (T2) efforts in coordination with the DA's JIIM Program and the National Simulation Center (NSC).
Engage in DA and the Deputy Joint Staff J-7 (DJ7) Joint Training Development, Joint Operations System Environment (JOSE), and JIIM forums.
Support reviews of DJ7 or other JIIM-hosted or sponsored exercises.
Assist in validating the resource requirements for Army-nominated OE and OPFOR live, virtual, and constructive initiatives.
Support Government-directed research and efforts to maintain accurate Program Budget Review (PBR) documentation for OPFOR programs.
Facilitate the integration of Joint capabilities and enablers that enhance OE and OPFOR fidelity at Combat Training Center (CTC) and Home Station Training (HST) events, leveraging modeling and simulation tools.
Provide SME support to identify and validate Joint OE/OPFOR capability gaps at CTCs and Home Stations, coordinating with DD J7 JCW to address and document enduring requirements in JCIDS.
Generate detailed written updates on Army Joint OE/OPFOR programs, including Accreditation/Validation reports, technical reports, and trip summaries.
Analyze and assess current government and commercial training solutions to address identified gaps. Conduct thorough analyses to enhance JCIDS documentation and inform procurement and future modernization efforts for the Army's OPFOR Program. Required Qualifications Must possess a minimum of 10+ years of relevant military operational experience, former O-5 or O-6, with a strong emphasis on joint fires is highly preferred. Knowledgeable in doctrinal approaches to Joint and Service training, and multi-domain environment warfighting challenges.
Leverage extensive professional experience, education, and senior leader skills to operate with minimal supervision at the Department of the Army, Army Command, and Army Service Component Command levels.
Experience providing analyses, conclusions, recommendations, and courses of action both written and verbal.
Joint, Interagency, Intergovernmental, and Multinational (JIIM) exercise and experiment planning experience or Joint and Service Test and Evaluation experience.
Proficient in conducting on-line research and utilizing desktop office applications. Clearance and Travel Secret clearance required with TS/SCI eligibility.
