Salary Range:
$120,000.00 To $145,000.00 Annually
Job Summary: ITS, LLC. is seeking an Exercise Planner to join our team in Alexandria, VA! The successful candidate will support a high performing team of Government and Contractor professionals to monitor, analyze, coordinate, and deliver operations activities across a variety of assets in support of the Space Warfighting Mission. The candidate will be pivotal in supporting coordinated activities across multiple government agencies and ensuring the safety and success of the efforts. The successful candidate will have experience with space operations planning, COA and TTP execution, and the Space Warfighting mission. The successful candidate will also have demonstrated the ability to operate in a dynamic and high energy environment with constantly changing taskings and priorities. This position will be supporting the Space Superiority Business Division of the Space Superiority and Geospatial Sector within the Space and Airborne Systems Segment. Key Responsibilities: Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Prepare, Plan, and Integrate operational planning and strategy activities into customer plans, exercises, training, and operations.
Support the development of Operational Plans, FRAGO's, COA's and TTPs.
Integrate into the joint planning cycle supporting customer interests and needs.
Provide Operational Planning subject matter expertise to outside organizations in support of planning coordination and deconfliction.
Support the development, deployment, and execution of CONOP's and TTP's
Prepare various reports, presentations and plans as needed.
Other tasks as directed.
Works under moderate supervision to set objectives for work environment.
Communicates with contacts inside and outside of the team to explain and interpret operational processes, best practices, and procedures.
Work individually and as part of a team in a diverse, rapidly changing environment.
Participate in exercise work groups, planning meetings, and in-progress reviews (IPR) for exercise planning and update presentation material for senior leadership, middle management, or action officer level. Receive requirements for developing concepts to present to senior leaders.
Demonstrates proficiency in common Joint Intelligence Exercise Planning concepts.
Familiar with supporting large DoD exercises to include but not limited to AUSTERE CHALLENGE, CYBER FLAG, GLOBAL THUNDER, GLOBAL LIGHTENING, TERMINAL FURY, VIGILANT SHIELD, among others.
Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with basic orbital mechanics
Familiar with Joint Planning processes
Familiar with satellite operations
Familiar with DoD/NRO spacecraft
Familiar with orbital mechanics
Education/Experience: 2 years post-Secondary/ associate degree and a minimum of 6 years of related experience or
Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience or Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of related experience
Clearance Requirement: Active TS/SCI security clearance with CI Poly required.
