We are seeking a Cyber Security Lead to help lead a new award opportunity in the DC Capital Region. This program provides enterprise-wide IT support to enable the customer to consolidate, modernize, and continuously innovate the delivery of IT services and mission capabilities. These services will deliver exceptional execution value to internal and external mission partners operating in CONUS and OCONUS locations. As the Cyber Security Lead, you coordinate delivery of cybersecurity support and provide subject matter expertise for cybersecurity, compliance, and risk-management related to performance of this program. You will also be responsible for staffing Cybersecurity personnel and coordinating with key functional leads - ie Architecture Lead, Engineering Lead, Infrastructure Services Lead, Service Desk Lead, etc. You will supervise and manage the following tasks: Provide leadership and management oversight to the cybersecurity work center. Lead DoD and Intelligence Community (IC) cybersecurity activities for systems connected to NIPRNet, SIPRNet, and JWICS.
Implement automated vulnerability testing and/or risk management controls in DevSecOps delivery methodologies.
Lead risk management efforts to achieve and maintain authorization for systems using DoD and IC RMF tools (e.g., eMASS, Xacta, etc.)
Lead vulnerability management and reporting activities in response to DoD cybersecurity directives, orders, and alerts including leveraging the output of automated tools.
Lead audits of computer systems to ensure secure operations and data protection from both internal and external attack.
Lead the design and recommendations of security policies and procedures to implement; ensures compliance to policies and procedures.
Oversee the reviews security requirements and subsequently reviews complex systems to determine if they have been designed and established to comply with established standards.
Lead investigations of security violations and breaches and recommends solutions; prepares reports on intrusions as necessary and provides analysis summary to management.
Train, mentor and motivate staff to meet individual, team and contractual obligations and thresholds while ensuring individual career growth and development.
Provide product recommendations of security packages to customers; reviews vendor products and makes recommendations as appropriate.
Deliver executive-level technical briefings and presentations to senior Government personnel Basic Qualifications: BS degree; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
15+ years of experience delivering cybersecurity support and providing subject matter expertise for cybersecurity, compliance, and risk-management:
Experience leading DoD and Intelligence Community (IC) cybersecurity activities for systems connected to NIPRNet, SIPRNet, and JWICS.
Experience with implementation of automated vulnerability testing and/or risk management controls in DevSecOps delivery methodologies.

This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
