UI Software Engineer Location: Fairfax, VA Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Active Top Secret/SCI Program Overview: In this role, you will work on a small team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, delivering software tools and capabilities in a timely manner. The candidate is self-motivated, actively drives tasks to completion with minimal supervision, and works well in a team environment. Strong communication and organization skills are critical traits for succeeding in this role. The candidate will work closely with a team of UI engineers and analysts to provide capabilities within a Qt application to interact with a large-scale signal processing system. This includes but is not limited to, creating high-performance, low-memory interactions for large-scale data manipulation and visualization. Required Qualifications: Proficient in Object Oriented Programming (C++ preferred) Experience with UI Design (Qt preferred) Experience working in a Linux environment such as RedHat or CentOS Knowledge of code version management techniques (GIT preferred) Strong communication and organization skills Preferred Qualifications: B.S. or higher in Computer/Electrical Engineering or Computer Science Preferred 3 years experiences with Qt or domain knowledge Comfortable working closely with a team Experience with agile methodologies and associated tools (i.e. Jira) Experience or knowledge of signal processing systems Experience with Cloud technologies: commercial cloud platforms (AWS), docker, Kubernetes, large-scale logging (Loki) and metric tracking (Grafana) Knowledge of cloud-native software construction approaches Software architecture background: building and deploying microservices in the cloud that provide authentication and are adaptable to scaling Who we are: Our people are the core of who we are and what we do.
