DSA is seeking a Technology Support Specialist to join our hybrid team in Fairfax, VA. This position is to support DSA's internal systems and employees. This is a mid-level position which provides opportunities for growth in the IT field and is suited for an individual who is interested in expanding a career in Information Technology. The individual will be gaining experience in all facets of IT, i.e.; servers, networking, security, Office 365/Azure, etc. Required Qualifications 5 or more years professional, in-depth Windows server operating system, hardware and application support. Consulting with end users on all aspects of computer and application use. Familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory, Azure AD Connect, GPOs, Conditional Access Policies, and the Windows Server operating systems (). 3-5 years of experience administering Microsoft 365 security controls, Exchange/SharePoint/OneDrive, and Intune. Documented experience with managing backup software and business continuity/disaster recovery plans. Experience with enterprise utility applications such as VPN, anti-virus, and anti-malware tools. Working knowledge of VMware virtualization in an enterprise network. Ability to work as a team, written/verbal communication, and enthusiasm for cross-training with peers. Ability to document, measure and improve existing processes. Desired Qualifications Education equivalent to an Associate's degree from a two-year college with emphasis on Information Technology or similar coursework in applicable fields. Experience may be substituted 2 years for 1 year education. Relevant certifications will be considered. Key Responsibilities Provides response assistance and coordination for servers, applications, and Microsoft 365/Azure administrative support. Maintain primary and secondary VMware cluster for virtual servers along with storage and backup systems. Troubleshoots and resolves problems with remote users and systems including authentication systems and methods. Requests and documents additional information as required. Administrative application support duties as needed including vendor coordination. Assist with administrative systems support as needed in coordination with other support resources. Maintain inventory of installed equipment information and applications into inventory system following prescribed guidelines. Maintain network documentation. Provides hands-on support at DSA's office locations and data center. Participates in and contributes to the development of technology planning efforts. Provide consistent training and enthusiastic support for the development of other team members. Collaborates with IT staff in policy and process improvement. Performs other duties as assigned.
