Overview Steampunk is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Program Manager to support our Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) clients. CISA leads the national effort to understand, manage, and reduce risk to critical infrastructure. CISA is charged with leading the Nation's strategic and unified work to assure the security and resilience of the nation's cyber systems, protecting the American way of life. Contributions We are looking for an experienced individual to join us in securing innovative technology solutions for a large scale, fast-paced, mission-critical environment. The ideal candidate is a creative and hands-on leader, with technical expertise in 1) large-scale information security program modernization 2) DevSecOps and 3) and penetration testing. You will be a client-facing technical advisor, leader, coach, mentor, and an accountable program manager with a proven track record of leading cybersecurity teams ensuring quality service delivery in a client environment. Serving as the technical delivery leader, accountable for completion of team delivery efforts including quality oversight, visibility into delivery targets, and client acceptance Delivery repeatable outcomes and quality at speed Building and maintaining client relationships, fostering and promoting innovative thinking across the client environment. Integrate Continuous Authority to Operate (C-ATO) with agency processes resulting in measurable reduced cost. Identifying design gaps in existing and proposed architectures and recommend changes or enhancements. Bridging the gap between teams ensuring development of integrated solutions Developing and leading technical teams for complete lifecycle of solution development and deployment, from hands-on proposal technical support to prototyping client implementations and complete production deployment. Responsible for fulfilling staffing plans; providing strategic guidance to multiple teams. Formulating, organizing, and monitoring interconnected projects. Preparing and/or presenting reports to government PM's. Fulfilling task management deliverables within SOW. Coordinate with other task leads to ensure specific deliverables are being completed within the agreed upon timelines and communicating any discovered risk and mitigation plans with the government. Effective end-to-end solution design, to include integration with other technologies and solutions, driving high client satisfaction with the final solutions. Handling challenging client situations and offering technical and business guidance & direction to client executives. Responsible for organizing all services pertaining to this contract. Qualifications 10+ years of proven experience as a Program Manager (PM) or other managerial positions Must have a current Project Management Professional (PMP) or relevant education in lieu of certification. Must have an active TS security clearance. Bachelor's degree Excellent knowledge of performance evaluation and change management principles and excellent communication, problem solving and leadership skills Possesses one of the following professional security and management certifications: CISSP, CASP, CISM, CEH, SSCP, CAP, CISA, GISP, PMP certification Strong understanding of federal CISO responsibilities, and experience in multiple roles, including: Information System Security Officer (ISSO) Incident Responder / Network Security Analyst Compliance Analyst Security Architect Security Engineer Security Control Assessor IT Auditor Experience in Agile and DevSecOps Program and contract management for upwards of 50 FTEs. Experience interfacing with Federal Contracting officials. Experience with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) strongly preferred. Be self-motivated with innate organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple work streams against tight deadlines. Must be an outstanding communicator, able to listen for verbal and non-verbal cues, with exceptional writing and verbal skills, as well as able to present technical and non-technical information clearly and precisely to diverse groups of people. About steampunk Steampunk relies on several factors to determine salary, including but not limited to geographic location, contractual requirements, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $150,000 to $190,000. The estimate displayed represents a typical annual salary range for this position.
