Job Title: FedRAMP Consultant Location: Remote, Washington D.C/Northern Virginia Metropolitan Area Preferred Duties & Responsibilities: Marathon TS is seeking a talented individual to join the advisory division. The position and compensation are highly dependent on experience. The individual is expected to be a key leader working with all of our Cyber professionals. Your work will revolve around the delivery of FedRAMP, FISMA, and CMMC advisory services and deliverables as it pertains to enterprise security architectures of dynamic cloud environments. The higher echelon(s) of range/compensation begins with the list below and scales down depending on experience: Been in the FedRAMP space for several years (ideally since inception) Have worked alongside auditors, engineers, vendors in the FedRAMP space Are well versed in the highly nuanced nature of the FedRAMP landscape Have advised customers seeking FedRAMP not only from a compliance standpoint but from a truly deep-technical standpoint coordinated with clients and team members to identify the right balance of defense-in-depth techniques to translate customer's goals into a secure and effective solution engaged in development of client cloud and security strategies, vision-state architectures, roadmap, planning activities and implementation Have served as the cloud SME to clients within engagements for design, architecture, and deployment in the AWS, Azure or GCP space using automated orchestration and configuration management techniques Expertise on serverless, microservices and other modern application architecture(s) Are proficient technically, understand how to implement cloud technologies Not afraid to roll up your sleeves and learn how to implement technologies overnight Not afraid of the command line (Can you do your job without a mouse or GUI if you were forced to?) Have worked across a myriad of technology stacks in the leading cloud providers like AWS and Azure, researching how to understand and utilize native services in deployments High a laundry list of certifications (& be an actual domain expert, not just a good test taker) PMP, CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, CGEIT, AWS SME, AWS CSA, AWS SCS etc. Have subject-matter-expertise on all things cloud technologies and cybersecurity Have authored detailed design documentation, including security documentation and not re-word templatization documentation Have a deep understanding of all things NIST Are a thought-leader, published case studies, presented at conferences Are absolutely disciplined, self-driven, and want to make an impact Extremely talented in project management, ability to track detailed tasks, ensure timely delivery Familiarity with other frameworks such as FISMA, SOC, ISO, HIPAA, HITRUST, PCI, etc Will work as a team lead and be an integral part of a highly productive team of seasoned technical professionals who thrive on supporting our customer's mission and growth objectives Work in close collaboration with software developers, engineers, and stakeholders Supporting development of engineering artifacts that captures system security requirements, application security design and architecture Delivery team support, including: identifying process improvements and training Developing methodologies, templates, whitepapers, work instructions, guidelines, forms, tools, blogs Creating industry consistency and intellectual property for bladestack.io products and services Directly working on client engagements, supporting delivery QA and subject matter expertise Developing and delivering of whitepapers and custom webinars / presentations Supporting management of client satisfaction at all phases of the client relationship Continuous professional development in maintaining industry specific certifications, building and maintaining strong depth of knowledge in the practice area Marathon TS is committed to the development of a creative, diverse and inclusive work environment.
