Job description

USmax Corporation is seeking a Corporate Contracts Administrator to manage contracts across the organization, ensuring compliance with federal and company contracting policies and procedures. The selected candidate will have both an internal and external focus across all contracts functions. Duties and Responsibilities: Provide full lifecycle contract support, from contract award to contract closeout, for government prime contracts and subcontracts.
Provide daily ongoing support to government project leads/program managers, contracting officers, and contracting officer's representatives, including subcontractors, consultants, and vendors. Specific communication includes task funding and period of performance actions, scope changes, ad hoc issue resolution, security requirements, funding inquiries, government property, status reports, and general contract support.
Ensure procurement files for prime contracts and subcontracts are detailed and audit ready. Maintain records of prime contracts.
Process awards, modifications, change orders, notices to proceed, correspondence, etc.
Review billings for compliance before submission for payment.
Review subcontractor billings for accuracy and compliance as part of the approval process.
Prepare monthly internal and external reports such as backlog reports.
Draft letters and memoranda as required.
Perform other related duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: Familiarity with the FAR, DFARS, and Contractor Purchasing System Review (CPSR) requirements. Sound understanding of U.S. Government Contract flow-down clauses.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
Must be self-motivated and detail oriented, have excellent customer service skills, and be able to work both independently and as part of a team. Strong analytical skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as negotiation skills.
Required Experience: 4 years of corporate contracts department experience administering Government contracts and requirements, including standard concepts, rules, regulations, and practices.
Experience, proficiency, and application of the FAR to government contracts and subcontracts. 2 years of hands-on experience using Deltek Costpoint ERP system and the modules associated with the duties listed. Required Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
Preferred Education: Contracts degree, course work, or certification in contract management
Security Clearance Requirements: None, but U.S. Citizenship is required for facility access. Work Location / Schedule: Fairfax, VA; hybrid schedule with two (2) days onsite
