Overview Facilites Maintenance Support Service Landing Page (FMSS 4): Bowhead seeks to network with individuals currently supporting Facilities Maintenance Support Services at the Naval Surface Warfare Center. This work is located on-site in Dahlgren, VA. Responsibilities Positions available may include: Management Support Analyst Engineering Technician I Engineering Technician II Engineering Technician III Engineerting Technicain IV Maintenance Technician Electrician Plumber HVAC Mechanic Qualifications Education, experience and certificates required will vary based on individual position requirements. Previous/current experience with facilities maintenance support. Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint. Ability to understand, speak, read, and write the English language as well as communicate effectively with all levels of employees, Government Representative, and outside contacts. Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team. A valid driver's license in the state of employment with an acceptable driving record may be required for certain positions. Ability to pass a pre-employment background check in addition to U S Citizenship is required. Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold an active Secret security clearance. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location. .
