Job description

Our team, supporting Military Sealift Command (MSC) in Chesapeake, VA, has an immediate need for a Software Librarian to manage MSC's enterprise software, media, and licenses. Primary responsibilities include: • Maintain physical copies of the approved software library as well as the inventory of software licenses with their associated usage • Provide support for software and license key requests from the internal team and shipboard personnel • Monitor and update trouble ticketing system for assigned tasks • Communicate replacement software versions to users, technicians, and customers Job Requirements • Must possess a current IAT II or higher security certification in accordance with IAWF DoD 8570.01M, and be able to get an appropriate Computing Environment certification within 6 months of hire • Must have 7 years or more IT experience, preferably some of which involves managing enterprise software licensing • Must have some experience with Microsoft Office Products: Outlook, Word, Excel, OneDrive, Teams Security Clearance Secret Job Type Full-time StratasCorp provides a complete compensation package with competitive wages and benefits that include medical, dental, and vision insurance, FSA & HSA accounts, disability and other income protection benefits, life insurance, paid personal time-off benefits, paid holidays, and a 401K Saving Plan with a company matching contribution.
