Job Duties:

Performs Routine QC control in manufacturing and production.

Income part inspections by request (Internally and Externally sources)

Non-Conformance Reporting and Material Review Board activities. Follow-up and verification with disposition and RCA for prevention purposes.

Create and following up on inspection tags written to ensure compliance

Be an active team member Quality and strategically focus on company objectives

Establishing quality standards, procedures, and documentation to increase QMS and implementation of preventative measures.

Ability to read blueprints and specifications to ensure that operations meet production and customer driven standards.

Recommending any necessary adjustments and changes to production processes (Routing and Rework Suggestions, based on Conformance of parts and the process)

Inspecting and testing materials and equipment produced.

Using gadgets such as micrometer screw gauges to measure products

Accepting or rejecting finished products and providing standard driven feedback with the production team

Performing inspections and audits at random to assess product quality (Ensure that First Piece/First Article Inspections are being completed)

Implementation of training driven by standards set forth in QMS to ensure comprehension for floor personnel.

Use of dept issues QC Stamp ID on all items inspected within designated area.

Relay important Quality information to their designated areas. For example, Part Isolation Requirements, Quality Alerts, and Capturing/Documenting any issues noticed throughout general tasks.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Analytical and problem-solving skills

Attention to detail

Technical skills and ability to understand blueprints, documents and manuals

Knowledge of basic math and computer skills

Ability to influence others to follow rules and regulations

Strong leadership skills and teamwork mentality

Verbal and written communication skills

Dexterity, physical strength and physical stamina

Proactive approach with QC and ability to think through next steps

Basic understanding of Quality Management Systems and ISO 9001:2015 Standards

Certified Quality Technician (Not required, but desired)
