Always ready. Anytime. Anywhere. Any domain. Location & Travel: This Information Security Analyst position is a hybrid position with up to 10% travel to other sites. Travel will be reimbursed based on GSA Per Diem rates and DoD Joint Travel Regulations (JTR). The is a hybrid-based position in the Metro Park or NGIC area, and the amount of time required onsite will be determined upon hire. Security Clearance: This Information Security Analyst position must be a United States Citizen and hold a current Top Secret, with SCI eligibility, security clearance. Employees are required to follow all company and customer site COVID-19 protocols. Responsibilities Review and update security controls, accreditation packages, and artifacts to ensure timely and accurate completion of Authorization and Accreditation (A&A) processes.
Lead the planning, execution, and assessment of major cybersecurity assignments, applying comprehensive knowledge across key tasks.
Evaluate performance results and recommend major changes to influence short-term project growth and success.
Serve as a technical expert across multiple project assignments, providing high-level guidance and technical oversight.
Supervise and mentor junior engineers or cybersecurity staff, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment.
Develop, review, and maintain Body of Evidence artifacts for Certification and Accreditation (C&A) under frameworks such as NIST SP 800-Series, DoD RMF, and ICD 503.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with applicable federal regulations concerning IT systems specification, development, acquisition, and maintenance.
Manage and secure Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) or Windows systems as part of cybersecurity support efforts.
Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies and Kubernetes for secure deployments and environments.
Work with Cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, particularly in Infrastructure and Platform as a Service (IaaS/PaaS) environments.
Ensure compliance with DoDD 8570.01-M IA certifications, including IAT Level II baseline and computing environment certifications.
Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field (7+ years of relevant experience).
Alternative: 6 years of cybersecurity support for IT systems in lieu of a degree.
6+ years of experience working in cybersecurity, including experience in A&A processes and managing security controls.
Preferred: Experience with the US Army, DoD, or intelligence community Information Assurance roles (ISSO or IAM).
Expertise in developing and managing C&A artifacts under frameworks such as NIST SP 800, DoD RMF, and ICD 503.
Familiarity with federal regulations and terminology concerning IT system specifications, acquisition, and lifecycle maintenance.
Hands-on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) or Windows system administration.
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies and Kubernetes management.
Cloud experience, particularly with AWS or Azure in IaaS/PaaS environments.
Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility.
Compliance with DoDD 8570.01-M IA certifications, including IAT Level II and Security+ (AWS certification to be obtained within 30 days of starting).
