The candidate will join a team of reverse engineers, software developers, and network data experts to help answer our customer's hardest analytic problems.
Required Skills: • Knowledge of digital network information (DNI) and how this type of network data is structured • Familiarity with data discovery and triage tools, including but not limited to commercial software ecosystems such as Elasticsearch and Kibana • Experience scaling data analysis efforts and writing analytic products based on multiple data sources of different types (structured and unstructured) • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Ability to understand customer mission, see how organizational components fit together, and drive impact • Basic familiarity with scripting and procedural programming in Python • Basic familiarity with packet capture (PCAP), summarizing network packet information, and drilling down to analyze unknown packet payloads and protocols Position Overview: The candidate will be the primary customer-facing member of a team of reverse engineers and software developers. They will serve as an ambassador for our products and the advocate for the customer's requirements to the engineering teams. Examples of tasks include: • Triage DNI to identify valuable metadata and content that integrates into existing analytic paths and presents new opportunities • Work with customer partners to demonstrate the value of leveraging DNI analysis • Use customer applications to search and analyze data holdings to answer analytic questions • Provide guidance to team members to identify new data opportunities to increase effectiveness of current analysis capabilities • Provide feedback for development of custom capabilities to make the analysis of new and unfamiliar data sources more automated and less cumbersome
