Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Engineering and Implementation Manager to join our team in the Chantilly, VA area.The Engineering and Implementation Manager is responsible for the overall management and execution of engineering projects, ensuring the design, development, and implementation of robust and scalable IT infrastructure. You will bring a broad range of configuration and implementation expertise with traditional and hybrid cloud infrastructures. You will also provide instrumental integration and modernization with consular development teams to communicate requirements and provide development and testing support resolution to emerging issues during upgrades or the development of new capabilities in advance of any issues reaching production. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Oversee engineering projects, from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements. Manage and develop engineering teams, providing training, coaching, and performance feedback. Design and architect physical and virtual infrastructure solutions, including server, storage, and network components. Lead the transition to cloud-based infrastructure, including IaaS, PaaS, and software-defined infrastructure. Collaborate with other IT teams, including architecture, development, and operations, to ensure successful project delivery. Analyze infrastructure performance metrics to identify opportunities for optimization. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance infrastructure efficiency and reliability. Optimize technology lifecycle processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Basic Qualifications: A bachelor's degree A minimum of (5) five years of experience managing and leading engineering teams Demonstrated experience managing complex infrastructure projects Strong understanding of IT infrastructure technologies, including servers, storage, networking, and virtualization Excellent project management and organizational skills Strong leadership and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Preferred Qualifications: Experience collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and design solutions. Experience introducing new technologies and improving service delivery. Experience with technology lifecycle management. Experience with cloud migration projects. Certified Agile Service Manager certification. Cisco Certified Design Expert (CCDE) certification. Docker certification. Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification. Red Hat certified Engineer (RHCE) certification. Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect certification. Clearance Requirements: Must be a U.S. citizen Must hold a Top-Secret clearance Physical Requirements: Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. For all positions requiring access to technology/software source code that is subject to export control laws, employment with the company is contingent on either verifying U.S.-person status or obtaining any necessary license.
