Cyber Engineer Technical Manager Job Category: Information Technology Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Continental US What You'll Get to Do: As a cybersecurity professional at CACI, you'll lead the design & development of security architecture for a Navy PMW 120 systems engineering and development contract. We will build security into every aspect of this program, and you will be leading this effort for both technical- and policy-oriented considerations. You'll lead cybersecurity experts on the forefront of vulnerability assessment, threat protection, thorough documentation and mitigation strategies, and proactive prevention of security compromises. In this fast-paced, real-world environment, you'll draw on your education and experience as well as the resources of CACI to keep threats at bay by building cybersecurity into every aspect of this program. More About the Role: The Cyber Engineering Technical Lead's responsibilities include understanding project goals and developing plans and work schedules that will achieve them. The successful applicant will provide technical leadership and direction for multiple projects / programs including: Defining technical cyber strategies in cooperation with the leadership and development team of each project / program Assessing and managing technical risk and opportunities on cybersecurity programs Establishing standards and procedures to track and measure technical progress Evaluating technical development teams to improve performance Evaluating technical candidates for cybersecurity positions Keeping abreast of new technologies and tools to take advantage of opportunities for innovation Collaboration with project / program leadership to ensure flawless technical performance You'll Bring These Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field. Experience and related skills in architecture, requirements definition, design of computer projects, interface specifications, coding, and testing. Experience in platform Cybersecurity such as Spacecraft, Aircraft, Weapons System, etc. Experience in CNE/CNO 10 or more years of experience as a cybersecurity or computer science/engineering professional Understanding of RMF and ATO of a Development System
Technical understanding to support development team requests (like CI/CD pipeline configurations, STIGs and hardening efforts)
Proven leadership of a technical team of cyber engineers
Professional Presence (able to present technical information to and work collaboratively with customers)
Control Account Manager duties
Managed Cost and Schedule for the cyber team
Effective communication with leadership, team, and customer
Ability to succinctly provide regular status to leadership and the customer
TS/SCI Clearance Level These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have: Familiarity with Navy PMW 120 is a plus
Have at least 15 years of experience and related skills in architecture, requirements definition, design of cybersecurity systems, integration, and testing. Experience leading a team. Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the principles, theories, methods, and techniques of the specialized field of computer science, as well as knowledge of the concepts, factors and conditions which influence the design, development, and operation of related products. Have at least five (5) years of experience in technical development and be skilled in leading a team. Have at least five (5) years of experience in development with multiple information systems and technologies - What You Can Expect: A culture of integrity. Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
