Job description

We are seeking an Acquisition Specialist to provide full-time support on-site in Chantilly, VA. for contract and business processes across all stages of the contract management life cycle. The successful candidate will work on-site with the customer and play a key role in supporting COMM/CASE in their oversight role for the Transformer-2 (T2) acquisitions. The position requires a proactive individual with strong organizational skills, the ability to work independently, and the capability to collaborate effectively with teams across various organizational levels, from junior staff to senior leadership. The Acquisition Specialist will focus on reviewing acquisition documents, supporting the development of common language deliverables, and providing regular status updates to CASE leadership. Key Responsibilities: • Provide acquisition support for COMM/CASE with a focus on oversight of Transformer-2 (T2) acquisitions. • Review acquisition documents for CASE equities, including assisting with the development of key deliverables such as: T2 CONOPS (Concept of Operations) T2 SOW (Statement of Work) T2 Acquisition Strategy T2 Award Fee Guide T2 OLA (Operational Level Agreement) T2 CLIN Structure (Contract Line Item Numbers) • Utilize extensive knowledge of the customer acquisition lifecycle to assist with strategy development, RFP (Request for Proposal) creation, proposal evaluation, and contract awards. • Document detailed meeting minutes and action items for CASE leadership's use, ensuring effective communication and follow-up on key items. • Develop and provide status updates on T2 acquisition contracts, using a variety of tools such as: Spreadsheets Dashboards SharePoint Confluence Other relevant tools or platforms. • Prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that contract-related items are managed efficiently across a large organization. • Work collaboratively with program managers, acquisition professionals, and stakeholders at all levels to ensure timely and accurate delivery of acquisition milestones. Qualifications: • Education: Bachelor's Degree required. • Experience: 4-5 years of experience in contracts or acquisitions, with a strong understanding of acquisition processes and contract management. • Clearance: Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph is required. • Skills: Strong understanding of the Acquisition Lifecycle, including: Acquisition strategy RFP development Proposal evaluation Award processes Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Proficient in creating and managing documents, spreadsheets, and reports using platforms like SharePoint, Confluence, and dashboard tools. Ability to document detailed meeting minutes and action items. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with both junior and senior-level personnel.
