Capture Manager Location: Hybrid (Ashburn, VA) Overview: AOC Connect is seeking an experienced and motivated Capture Manager to spearhead the company's efforts in winning large-scale federal IT and telecommunications infrastructure contracts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in capture management, business development, and federal contracting, with a proven track record of success in winning multi-million-dollar contracts in the federal telecom marketplace. Responsibilities: Capture Manager's primary responsibility will be to lead the company's efforts in identifying, qualifying, and winning new business opportunities. You will work closely with the executive team and business development staff to develop and execute strategies for pursuing and winning federal contracts in the telecommunications domain. You will report directly to the Chief Revenue Officer. Specific responsibilities include: • Meet specific goals established with the executive team of targets identified, and specific revenue goals over a five-year cycle. • Drive the capture process for federal contracts, including managing the capture team, developing capture plans, and executing capture activities in alignment with the company's overall business development and growth strategies. • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the federal government, including agency officials, prime contractors, and other partners. • Conduct market research and competitive analysis for capture strategy and identify potential teaming partners. • Develop and manage the capture budget. • Work collaboratively with proposal teams to ensure that proposals are aligned with capture strategies and meet all requirements and evaluation criteria. • Develop and maintain capture-related documentation, including gate reviews, competitive analyses, and other reports. • Manage the transition from capture to proposal development, including working with proposal managers and subject matter experts to ensure that requirements are met. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or related field. • At least 5 years of experience in capture management and business development in the federal marketplace, with a focus on IT or telecommunications contracts. • Strong understanding of federal acquisition processes and regulations, including FAR and DFAR. • Demonstrated success in leading capture efforts for large, complex, federal contracts. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience developing and delivering presentations to senior management and government officials. • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team of professionals. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. • Must be a US citizen.
