Eagle Harbor Solutions, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Strategic Communications Specialist with an active Secret clearance to support EHS and our government customer in Arlington, VA. Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to: Report on social and traditional media landscape, key themes and audiences, sentiment, media outlets, and other key factors relating to or supporting the ManTech mission Update and maintain ManTech website which requires AFPIMS access and/or experience Develop compelling content tailored to the proper audiences and distribute via multiple channels, including the ManTech website, to address program objectives Conduct research and recommend outreach and engagement opportunities (e.g., conference, webinar, and podcast). Aid in the development and production of outreach materials, including but not limited to brochures, conference booth displays, and videos Prepare, edit, and staff press releases, news articles, social media posts, videos, webinars, newsletters, presentations and talking points for leadership and other content as required. Compose, submit for ManTech Director approval, and transmit on behalf of ManTech a periodic DoD Manufacturing Technology Program newsletter Monitor media coverage of ManTech and related activities, collect and compile news data, and produce media analysis reports with charts, graphs, key takeaways, and recommendations using Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Active Secret clearance Minimum of five (5) years of recent relevant experience Bachelors' degree in a communications-related field with 3 years of relevant experience Excellent ability to research, analyze, assess, interpret, and report research results Ability to work independently with both junior and senior staff in a distributed environment while maintaining a strong commitment to deliverable schedules to meet tight deadlines Experience AFPIMS access or experience Experience with graphic editing software Experience with photography and videography Expert understanding of Federal Public Affairs operations Understanding of DoD organization use, and limitations on use of social media Proficient verbal and written communication skills, comfortable with unstructured verbal interactions, briefings, and meeting moderation Experience with OSD or DoD Public Affairs operations is preferred Working Environment & Conditions This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress. The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
