Depending on the assignment, this unique role will develop, formulate, and define specifications for complex operating software programming applications and modify and maintain business applications using releases and utilities from the manufacturer. Additionally, the SE will evaluate new software products, engage with clients or business professionals to strategize ideas for beneficial software, coordinate with other IT professionals to design software and run tests to catch coding errors. The NSE must be able to adjust quickly to real-time changing priorities within a complex and fluid environment. The ideal candidate demonstrates a unique blend of technical mastery, creativity and collaboration. Additionally, candidates must be service oriented and focused on continuous learning. Candidates who demonstrate GREAT knowledge, have at least 2+ years hands-on experience formulating/defining specifications for complex operating software programming applications and modifying/maintaining business applications using releases and utilities from the manufacturer and experience in AWS Cloud and AWS services and technologies such as IAM, VPC, S3, EC2, and ElasticSearch are preferred! 1. Formulate / define specifications for complex operating software programming applications; modify maintain business applications using releases and utilities from the manufacturer
2. Administering SharePoint Farm, Databases. Design, code, test, debug, and document those programs
3. Manage Windows and Linux environments; assist in all phases of software systems programming applications. 4. Evaluating and manage new and existing software products. Recommend upgrades for existing systems and programs
5. Monitor all applications to ensure all are 508 Compliant, work within AWS cloud.
6. Utilize AWS services and technologies such as IAM, VPC, S3, EC2 and Elastic Search.
7. May create various diagrams, flowcharts and models that illustrate the type of code needed for programmers; document each aspect of a system or application as a reference for future upgrades and maintenance A D D I T I O N A L K E Y S U C C E S S A C T I V I T I E S
• Keeps informed of industry trends through benchmarking, participation in professional associations etc. to support operations.

Basic Qualifications • Must be a citizen of the United States
• Ability to acquire and maintain an agency / government security clearance; Current Secret and Current Interim Secret clearance is required
• Ability to acquire and maintain any other specific special clearances / access requirements.
• At least 18 years of age Education/Experience • An Associate's Degree from an accredited institution. Relevant IT and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. • Certifications: A+ CE, CCNA-Security, CND, Network+ CE, or SSCP
• At least two (2) years of relevant IT experience in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company. • Experience formulating/defining specifications for complex operating software programming applications and modifying/maintaining business applications using releases and utilities from the manufacturer. • Experience with AWS Cloud and AWS services and technologies such as IAM, VPC, S3, EC2, and ElasticSearch EOE/minorities/females/vets/disabilities
