Description: NSI requires a Senior Logistics/International Liaison Officer to support the Kuwait F/A-18 Foreign Military Sales Program Office. This HIGH PAYING position in the Crystal City, VA, Washington D.C. area to support International Customer/Senior Leadership with the management and execution of F/A-18 FMS Case activities. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills to effectively engage with Senior Flag Foreign Officers and personnel. Candidate must have the aptitude to understand NAVAIR and OEM maintenance/ training instructions/guidance, and patiently articulate, and resolve senior leadership concerns and provide recommendations on F/A-18 product support including maintenance, supply support, training, and facilities issues. Candidate will be required to strategically coordinate with U.S. Military and Program Offices and foreign customers to ensure mutual respect and credibility to successfully meet all schedules and support senior leadership decision making. Candidate must be mature, patient and articulate to participate in Senior Leadership discussions. This position supports a long-term contract and long-term job security in a unique and rare senior leadership advisory role. May require some travel CONUS and OCONUS. Location: Crystal City, VA Education: MS or MA Degree in Logistics Management, Business, Engineering, or Management. Bachelor's Degree plus four (4) years additional work experience OR High School Diploma plus eight (8) years additional work experience may be substituted for a Master's Degree. Experience: At least ten (10) years' experience in acquisition or operational logistics planning/management and maintenance engineering. Four (4) years specifically performing comprehensive product support analysis across the spectrum of IPS elements during a job assignment in or in support of an acquisition command. Four (4) years of U.S. military international business and/or domestic logistics support to include specific experience in acquisition planning and management including logistics planning, scheduling, execution and support system effectiveness analysis, studies and evaluations in support of DoD weapons systems and equipment. Two (2) years of specific experience in operational logistics planning and management. Required Skills/Abilities: Must be able to communicate effectively and build strong relationships with a variety of individuals and organizations to facilitate communication and collaboration to include the ability to convey complex information. Must have strong problem-solving skills to identify and address challenges and ability to develop creative recommended course of actions. Must be able to adapt to new environments and challenges quickly and be flexible to work with a variety of individuals and organizations. Must be able to focus on small details and ensure that all parties have the information they need in order to achieve shared goals. Must have strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously to ensure initiatives and goals are completed efficiently and effectively Security Clearance: Secret Clearance is required/Ability to obtain Top Secret. Must be a U.S. citizen.
