Job description

Candidates sought to provide portfolio support in quantum sensing, positioning, navigation, and timing, and communications. The successful candidate will act as the action officer and organizational hub of a large multi-program team. Candidate should be conversant in topics related to quantum science, photonics, or another scientific discipline, but does need not be a subject matter expert. The candidate should have exceptional organizational skills and experience in project management. Tasks will include facilitating, schedules, testing events, and action items related to multiple programs and projects ranging from large programs to small seedlings, as well as coordinating tasking for a team of technical and financial SETA's. Requirements:
Conversant in topics related to quantum science, photonics, or another scientific discipline.
Exceptional organizational skills
Experience in project management.
Successful experience tracking tasking, deadlines, testing events, and action items
Experience coordinating tasking for a team of technical and financial SETA's. Desired Capabilities and Characteristics:
At least two years' experience in program or project management
Prior experience with DARPA is highly desirable
Basic technical background in any area related to quantum science or photonics
Excellent technical writing skills, including the ability to perform proof reading and quality control on technical documents and slides
Excellent communication skills - both written (to include PowerPoint) and oral; must be able to concisely summarize and efficiently communicate the essential elements of a concept quantitatively and comprehensively
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Project Responsibilities:
Act as the central action officer and organizational hub of a large multi-program team
coordinate technical, financial, and organizational tasks between multiple SETA team members, government teams, and the Program Manager
manage multiple overlapping project schedules with complex interdependencies; able to minimize scheduling risk and programmatic risk in a portfolio
Facilitate/orchestrate large team activities, large testing activities, and schedules
Schedule meetings between many participants with involved schedules
Plan effective meetings with many different government, performer, and SETA participants
Coordinate unclassified and classified test events with many different government parties, performers, and SETA participants Clearance: U.S. citizenship with a current Collateral Secret clearance and a near-term path towards TS/SCI DoD security clearance is required (or ability to obtain).
