Job description

Consulting Services Group is seeking a highly organized and versatile Operations Support Specialist to join our team. This role will be integral in supporting our Program Director and Program Managers by providing organizational, creative, and logistical assistance. The ideal candidate will possess strong graphic design skills, experience in knowledge management, and the ability to coordinate projects across multiple teams. This role requires polished executive communication skills to facilitate high-level correspondence and presentations. Responsibilities: Support Program Director and Program Managers in day-to-day tasks as assigned.
Program Support: Assist Program Managers in the execution and coordination of projects, ensuring timelines, resources, and deliverables are effectively managed
Graphic Design: Develop visually compelling materials for internal and external use, including presentations, reports, infographics, and other collateral as needed.
Knowledge Management: Maintain and organize documentation, resources, and tools that enhance the team's knowledge-sharing capabilities. Includes updating and managing content within knowledge management systems.
Project Coordination: Oversee and coordinate various projects, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule and stakeholders are informed of progress and changes. Provide logistical support for meetings, workshops, and other events.
Executive Communications: Draft, edit, and review communications intended for executive leadership, including emails, reports, and presentations. Ensure communications are clear, professional, and aligned with company standards.
Data Analysis and Reporting: Compile and analyze data to support decision-making processes. Generate reports that provide insights into project performance, risks, and outcomes.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency within operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows.
Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must have a current/active DOD Top Secret Security / SCI (eligible)
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a support role, preferably within operations, project management, or a related field
Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience drafting executive-level communications.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Experience with knowledge management systems and tools.
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, and Microsoft Planner).
Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) or equivalent. Desired Qualifications: Self-starter.
Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Flexible and adaptive to changing priorities and tasks.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Foundational understanding of project management tools and software tools like Asana, Trello, or similar.
Basic understanding of data analysis and reporting techniques.
Experience supporting senior leadership or executive teams. Security Clearance:
Must have an active U.S. Government Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility. Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field. Work Environment Work is typically performed in an office environment, requiring the use of computer terminals and standard office equipment to accomplish work objectives.
Travel: Occasional local travel in the Washington Metropolitan Area. Employee Status: Full-Time
Job Location: On site in Northern Virginia. Remote telework is not available.
