Job Description BAE Systems is looking for a dynamic individual to provide maintenance of the server, computer desktop environment by analyzing requirements, resolving problems, installing hardware and software solutions, and supporting the internal IT Helpdesk. You will be responsible for administration and internal support of the Company's servers, PCs, printers, and related equipment. This individual will also service as the IT departments "Property Book Manager". Responsibilities include: Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the IT helpdesk Modify configurations, utilities, software default settings, etc. for the local workstation and server environment Utilize and maintain the helpdesk tracking software Document internal procedures Assist with onboarding of new users which includes Ensure each workstation has a computer, monitor, keyboard, mouse, hard drive, and any additional specialized equipment Manage PC setup and deployment for new employees using standard hardware, images and software When required, configure mobile devices to operate with Microsoft installed software Assign users and computers to proper groups in Active Directory Maintain inventory of all hardware, software and software licenses Perform timely workstation hardware and software upgrades as required Have a working knowledge of A/V systems including but not limited to matrix switchers, distribution amplifiers, professional audio, televisions, projectors, video teleconferencing (VTC) Systems, etc. Maintaining IT equipment inventory Responsible for the receiving of new IT equipment, accountability of existing IT equipment, and disposal of outdated/expired IT equipment Administers, plans, and directs the facility property management program Inspecting completed work for accuracy and compliance with established procedures Coordinate logistics operations within the brigade or battalion while simultaneously managing equipment fielding and turn-ins for external higher-level partners Ensuring adequate supplies by placing orders Posting transactions to IT departments property books and supporting transaction files Collecting worn-out items and sending damaged items back Management of the records for all leased, loaned and borrowed equipment, and the management of the records for all equipment transferred into and out of the Property Book Disposing of IT equipment as directed by the IT department lead. Required Education, Experience, & Skills Candidates must hold at least an active SECRET security clearance (DoD preferred) or be able to obtain a clearance and meet or exceed all requirements for IAT Level II as defined in DoD 8570.1. Have two-years of hands-on experience with IT Helpdesk Services Support Having knowledge of common desktop software applications including but not limited to Windows 10 Enterprise, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Creative Suite, etc. Have excellent oral and written communication skills Experience interacting with mid-to-senior level military officers from US and International military organizations. Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Have four-years of hands-on experience with IT Helpdesk Services Support Windows 11 Enterprise MCSA: Windows 10; MCSA: Windows Server 2012/2016; CCNA/CCNP Routing and Switching; other relevant certifications will be considered. Experience administering systems in Azure and Office 365 environments. Experience with Cisco Unified Call Manager (UCM) and Cisco UC Phone devices. Expertise with iOS devices and ZScaler Mobile. Full-Time Salary Range: $75570 - $128480 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
