We are currently seeking an Intra-government Reconciliations Consultant to join our team working hybrid, 2-3 days per week in Tysons or Arlington, VA. What you'll do: Provide support and development of intra-governmental reconciliations of buy/seller data with the Army's trading partners Responsibilities: Perform the validation of developed intragovernmental trading partner reconciliations with the usage of supporting transactional data from Army's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g., GFEBS) and the DoD's big data platform for advanced analytics (i.e., Advana)
Resolve variances identified within intragovernmental trading partner reconciliations
Perform a detailed and thorough analysis on the quality and accuracy of trading partner data within Army's ERP systems
Assist the Army with the automation of manual processes that are associated with the performance of intragovernmental trading partner reconciliations
Travel domestically and internationally, provide in-person support at MBC and client sites, and obtain and maintain professional certifications and security clearances as required by MBC and/or MBC's clients. These requirements are subject to change without advance notice at the discretion of MBC and MBC's clients Qualifications: Active Secret Security Clearance
Master's degree in Accounting OR a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and CPA, or CISA, or PMP or CGFM or CDFM 4 years of experience with federal financial management and 2 years federal accounting
Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask
Strong verbal and written interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
Ability to travel domestically and internationally using a credit card or prepaid debit card as required by MBC and/or client
