The Joint, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Interagency Division provides expert support services to a range of customers spanning across the Department of Defense, Federal Civilian, and international markets. JOID provides a diverse portfolio of analytical and programmatic capabilities to help our customers make informed decisions on their most challenging issues. The Acquisition and Technology Analysis Group within JOID provides the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) technical expertise for decision support to ensure technical overmatch for the U.S. Armed Forces against any potential adversaries. Our team of experienced military, technical, and operations research analysts is skilled exploring cutting-edge technology and helping government program managers evaluate, select, and manage research programs to transition promising technologies and ensure U.S. military forces retain technological superiority in the future. SPA has an immediate need for an International Cooperation Analyst to provide onsite support in Arlington, VA. Responsibilities SPA seeks an International Cooperation Analyst to assist DARPA in research and analysis to inform foreign policy programs and initiatives. This position includes the application of advanced consulting skills, extensive technical expertise, and comprehensive industry knowledge. The candidate will participate in the development of innovative solutions to complex problems and mentorship of junior team members. Will a pply diplomacy and engage in international governance dialogues of strategic interest to R&D and S&T environments. Assist in the coordination, planning, and execution of foreign government visits and engagements. Qualifications Required: Bachelor's degree Active DoD Secret clearance 10+ years of experience with DoD international armaments cooperation Knowledge of Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDT&E) International Agreement (IA) development and negotiations Knowledge of DoD stakeholders within the International Armaments community and Pentagon stakeholder coordination requirements Ability to prepare, coordinate, route, and approve documents and reports Ability to work in an extremely fast-paced environment and respond to rapidly evolving tasks Ability to facilitate the development of administrative products for senior leadership (mass email distributions, read-ahead materials, PowerPoint charts, monthly reports, and calendars and meetings) Desired: Active DoD TS/SCI clearance Master's degree
