Job Description: We are seeking a Human Resources (HR) Generalist responsible for performing Human Resources related duties. The HR role includes the following functional areas: benefits plan administration, company policy direction and employment law compliance. This position will perform as lead teammate for employee benefit programs, to include health and welfare plans, fitness, well-being programs, and leave policies as well as primary representative with internal employee social media content, employee announcements, moral programs, awards and presentations. Secondary HR duties include employee relations, professional development, onboarding support, and training. Responsibilities include: Support cradle to grave employee benefit enrollments and open enrollment periods and manage benefits records and communication to inform employees of any benefits changes. Field phone call and email inquiries for employee benefit questions and needs. Conduct new hire orientation and manage onboarding paperwork. Maintain HRIS records and assemble reports from the database. Manage 90-Day check in and follow up with Hiring Managers. Assist with employee handbook updates when needed. Assist with affirmative action program; EEO-1 reporting; VETS-4212 and other compliance needs. Lend support with issuing change letters and rewards memos. Manage rewards, bonus, and morale programs. Employee bereavement, holiday, and leave programs. Manage and update Resume Library. Manage reporting and follow up on Ethics & Respect Training Manage VOE and OPM Investigator requests; Manage VEC and other State Claims Manage Employee Referral program(s) Track and process Weekly HR Changes & Biweekly Payroll Changes Maintain POC Lists including SharePoint Company Director and Programs Page Information Maintain Weblinks and employee portals access. Maintain company organization charts and company location lists. Coordinate with payroll for new hire, change and exiting employee paperwork. Monitor and manage annual compliance training requirements in coordination with Security department. Manage internal employee social media announcements, morale programs, awards, and presentations. Here's what you need: 5-8 years of HR generalist experience. Experience in benefits administration, to include new enrollments, open enrollment, claims resolution, benefit changes, vendor invoices, and communicating benefits information. General knowledge of federal and state employment laws and practices. Knowledgeable about employee benefits and the various laws and regulations which apply to them. Experience in the administration Human Resources programs. Excellent computer skills with MS Office Suite in a Microsoft Windows environment, including strong experience with Excel. Demonstrated skills in database management and record keeping. Effective communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. A can-do attitude and teamwork mentality. Security Clearance: Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance Education: Bachelor's degree preferred Work Schedule: Hybrid; able to work onsite 5 days per week for first 30 days, onsite 4 days per week days 31-60, after 60 days will evaluate for onsite 3 days and 2 days remote per week.
