The Opportunity: DevOps engineering requires a specific mix of development, engineering, and communication skills. We're looking for a DevOps Engineer like you to help develop critical tools and get them into the hands of those who need them most. As a DevOps Engineer at Booz Allen, you'll help streamline the software development lifecycle, from requirements to monitoring in production. You'll incorporate open-source tools, automation, and cloud resources to cut down on tedious tasks and free up the team's developers to do what they do best-create. You'll work with the team to implement continuous integration and delivery to limit manual testing and troubleshooting. You Have: 3+ years of experience with DevOps 2+ years of experience working with a CI/CD pipeline Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation Experience with developing enterprise cloud-native solutions Experience with provisioning computer networking and storage, and setting up servers that the platform is on, including virtual machines (VM) or networks Ability to obtain a Secret clearance Bachelor's degree AWS, Azure, or GCP Certification Nice If You Have: Experience with creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative team environment Experience with Air Force or DoD clients Experience with developing enterprise cloud-native solutions involving Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Jenkins, or Azure Experience with writing scripts using tools, including Python, Bash, or Boto3 Experience with managing Containers or Virtual Machines and with using Git, GitHub, GitLab, or Jenkins Experience with Cloud Security Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
