KDS Job ID Koniag Data Solutions, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Business Systems Analyst with an active Secret clearance to support KDS and our government customer in Arlington, VA. Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to: Develop and deliver presentations, briefings, and demonstrations Report program and project status to track project tasks, schedules, hours, and effort to effectively allocate unit resources. Develop and conduct analysis on datasets to provide detailed analysis and reports surrounding daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly statistical analysis. Develop forecasting models and methods for the purpose of projecting resources and volumes needed to accomplish the program mission. Prepare business requirements (compile, document, and validate) Understand and negotiate needs and expectations of multiple stakeholders Serve as a liaison between Operations and IT to assist or gather business requirements needed for system modifications, enhancement, and implementations. Support and align efforts to meet customer and business needs Provide project level analysis - producing required project analysis documentation (business requirements, scope matrix, use cases, sequence diagrams, future state proposals, UAT plan) Identify improvement opportunities (proactive and reactive) Assess business process and system inefficiencies Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Demonstrate up-to-date expertise in Information Systems and Agile Framework, apply this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices. Stay current with customer needs and strategies; utilizing formal and informal written communication methods (for example, emails, newsletters, PowerPoint presentations, executive updates, task lists, updates) to communicate updates and findings; and facilitating project meetings and presentations to all types of diverse audiences (for example, senior management, Customers, technical staff) Identify ways to increase adoption and customer satisfaction Ability to analyze and synthesize business requirements, including recognizing patterns and conceptualizing processes Requirements BA or BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other relevant field preferred and 5 years of related experience 5+ years' experience with providing analysis of existing processes, requirements, functionality, and systems to determine how a system works. Knowledge of agile software development Agile Certifications a plus Working Environment & Conditions This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress. The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
