Job description

Inova Alexandria Hospital is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join their Labor and Delivery team in a full-time, night shift position. This is a 13-bed unit, complimented by 3 operating suites, 4 PACU beds, and 4 Clinical Decision beds. Approximately, 3,600 deliveries take place each year, including deliveries for high-risk obstetric patients. In our Clinical Decision Unit (Labor and Delivery Triage), cares for as many as 450 patients a month. The L&D Unit delivers approximately 10 to 15 babies each day.

This is a full-time (36 hours per week), night shift position.

Requirements:
Education : ADN, BSN or MSN from an accredited school of nursing. _If Associates in Nursing (ADN): must complete/obtain BSN within 5 years of start date._
Experience : Minimum of 1 year of Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse clinical experience in the acute care setting.
Certification : BLS from the American Heart Association & VA RN license
