This position requires experience supporting budget analytics in a federal government environment. Qualified candidates will have prior experience working with Qlik Sense and Databricks. Experience with Advana platform is a plus. This position is a direct hiring working for our client and offers a competitive W2 salary plus benefits. Role and responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Create and update data pipelines and conduct data ingesting operations Query, discover, export, and connect dashboards/analytic models to data on the Advana (DoD big data) platform Develop and translate functional data requirements to assemble datasets and program related business logic Ensure the data catalog is updated with new data being ingested Maintaining relationships and communicating with key client personnel to understand business operations, processes, and functions Develop and run reconciliation scripts to support customer data data and use cases Adhere to management's Agile Development process including Jira Other duties as assigned Requirements include (but are not limited to): U.S. citizenship Current security clearance (secret at a minimum) Bachelor's degree is preferred; additional years of related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree Experience supporting DOD Financial Management activities including PPBE 3-5 years of development experience with business intelligence including Qlik Sense dashboarding, development, and mashups Experience with back-end database management and programming Effective written and verbal communication skills including developing and delivering presentations Experience deploying Business Intelligence and data environments Proficiency with scripting in SQL and Python to query databases Experience with web technologies such as JavaScript, CSS, Node.js, Engima.js Experience using DataBricks to perform data transformations or modeling Experience using Cloud Native Services Qlik Sense certification is preferred (Qlik Sense Architect, Qlik Sense Analyst, Qlik Sense Trainer) Ability to support on-site work requirements (3-5 days/week depending on project assignment) .
