Cloud/Infrastructure Security Architect (Remote anywhere U.S.)
6-month Contract
$70.00 to $72.00 per hour

Job Description
Our client is looking for a Cloud Security Architect, This Individual will establish a strategic security architecture vision, including standards and frameworks that are aligned with the overall business and IT strategies. They will act as information security subject matter expert; provides advisory and consulting services to business, IT departments, and IS management. Will work closely with Enterprise Architecture and Application Development to enhance the security posture of new and existing systems, and work to design security architecture, evaluate risk posed to the organization from, and ultimately approve the implementation of systems and applications into the environment.

Required Skills

• 8 years' experience in Cloud Information Security with a focus on software development, secure SDLC, or security architecture
• Financial and Regulated environment experience
• SaaS and DLT experience
• Must have worked across all Security Domains
• Must have Infrastructure as Code experience
• NIST Cybersecurity Frameworks
• FFIEC Cyber assessment tool experience
• Experience in design and implementation of security issues
• AWS/Azure Security experience
• Experience in the design and implementation of security solutions

Bonus/Soft Skills

• Ability to evaluate risk versus reward and apply in a meaningful manner to the benefit of the organization.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills including developing and providing effective professional presentations to various audience types including senior management and leadership.
• Strong project management skills
