BSME, BSAE, BSCE + 10 years structural engineering experience.
Must have experience in classical aerospace hand analysis method and finite element analyses codes experience.
Must have experience of Microsoft Office and have general computer knowledge.
Must be able to obtain a Security Clearance.
Must be able to travel as required.
Must be able to work any shift, weekends, and overtime as required.

Job Description:
Perform structural analysis in support of design and certification for aircraft primary structures modifications, including load path development, design support, analysis documentation and liaison.
Determine stresses and deformations in aircraft structural members, systems, and equipment, which result from the applied and induced loads, as well as the comparison of these stresses with the corresponding material allowable using appropriate failure theories.
Perform static strength analysis and support the design of efficient fittings and joints.
Have a strong background in the principles of fatigue and the design of structures resistant to cracking.
Subtasks include the generation of free-body diagrams, determination of reaction forces, calculation of internal loads, preparation of shear and moment diagrams, automation of repetitive analytical tasks, and application of the principles of Structural Mechanics to predict the resulting tensile, compressive, shear and bending stresses, as well as possible structural instabilities.
