Overview:
The Data Entry Specialist is a detail-oriented position that operates within a dedicated data team to support the overall integrity of electronic data systems. The candidate will collect and transpose pivotal information into the organization's databases to support precise financial processing, performance monitoring, and contract compliance.

USD $16.83/Hr.

Max:
USD $21.63/Hr.

Responsibilities:
Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

Work within provider portals and internal helpdesks to collect data and documents submitted by providers, stakeholders, and internal staff.

Perform initial quality screenings on submitted information.

Accurately and efficiently transpose collected data into multiple centralized electronic systems managed by the organization including the internal case management system, state databases, and provider portals.

Process sensitive data, such as legal documents and financial authorizations, with a high level of integrity in alignment with protocol.

Meet departmental expectations regarding timeliness for data and document processing and communication.

Work collaboratively with Data Quality Supervisor, internal departments, and contract providers to identify/address opportunities for improvement in workflows and software configuration.

Perform all duties within contract, state and federal regulations, company policy, and regulatory agency standards.

May be required to drive vehicles, be insurable with our auto insurance provider, and complete company vehicle training.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED with a minimum of two years' experience in an administrative, clerical, or data entry role REQUIRED. A college degree in Information Systems, Accounting, Statistics, Computer Science, Human Services, or related field, may substitute for experience. Experience in healthcare, social services, or child welfare preferred.
