UT Tyler University Academy at Longview Campus is looking to build a pool of candidates for bus drivers. As openings become available, applicants will be selected for interviews. This position is responsible for the safe operation of University vehicles and excellent customer service to passengers. The employee will be on an as-needed basis, not to exceed 19.5 hours per week, for the instructional days defined by University Academy District Calendar. Two years of commercial driving experience including minimum of one year of experience driving a passenger/school bus. Valid Texas commercial driver's license (cdl) class b with air brake, passenger (p) and school bus (s) endorsements. Texas school bus driver's certification Must pass a driver's license history check and criminal background check. Must pass a drug test prior to employment.
