We support customers with Centers of Excellence in Washington DC, Huntsville, AL and Burlington, MA with an additional 36 locations across the U.S. Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Systems Interoperability and Integration Engineer SME in the C3I and Infrastructure Division (AFLCMC/HNI). HNI focuses on providing enterprise support to over 110 active Air Force, Air National Guard (ANG), and Air Force Reserve installations and bases. The office provides technical and policy support and provides C3I infrastructure for the Air Force Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) program. ICAM is the cornerstone of a digital foundation that connects all DAF members across a trusted digital force and paves the way for Zero Trust. JOB DETAILS LOCATION: Lackland, AFB, Texas JOB STATUS: Full-Time TRAVEL: Rarely REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS MA/MS in engineering and 15 years of experience, of which 5 years must be in the DoD Secret level Clearance JOB RESPONSBILITIES: The successful candidate must have the following knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience in performing all tasks defined below: Provide knowledge and experience in technical requirements development, planning, cybersecurity implementations, Information Assurance (IA), system/program protection implementations, Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) analysis, spectrum management, standards implementations, information technology (IT) analysis, engineering and technical analysis, test and control functions necessary to assure that the integrated system elements satisfy compatibility and performance requirements (i.e., operational, technical, derived, horizontal, and inherited) established over the life cycle of weapon systems.
