Recruiter/HR Specialist Location: Remote (Preferred San Antonio, TX) US Citizenship Required: Yes Clearance: None Travel: Limited less than 10% of time. Position Overview: Strategic Technologies Analytics Group (STAG) is seeking a Recruiter/HR Specialist, who will play a pivotal role in our Human Resources team, contributing to the acquisition of top talent to drive the success of our organization. This position combines advanced recruiting expertise with comprehensive HR knowledge to effectively manage the recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and screening candidates to onboarding and retention efforts. You will collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop innovative strategies to attract, engage, and retain diverse talent for both cleared and non-cleared roles. This role will be pivotal in also contributing to various HR functions to facilitate the company's growth and success. Key Responsibilities: Recruitment: Organize and execute end-to-end recruitment efforts for both non-cleared and cleared positions, from sourcing and screening to onboarding. Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top talent with the necessary security clearances. Utilize various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, networking, and industry partnerships, to identify qualified candidates. Conduct thorough candidate assessments, interviews, and reference checks to ensure a high-quality talent pool. Post open positions on Social Media. Collaborate closely with hiring managers and department heads to understand staffing needs and priorities. Update ATS and Clearance Jobs portal with open positions. Manage DoD SkillBridge & Internship Programs General HR Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive HR support to the Department Lead across various functions, including employee relations, performance management, compliance, and policy development to support the company's growth objectives. Complete HR administration tasks, such as maintaining employee records, managing HRM data, and preparing reports. Manage HR email inbox. Compliance and Legal Compliance: Stay abreast of changes in employment legislation and industry trends, advising management on potential impacts and necessary actions. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. At least 3 - 5 years of experience in Recruiting and Human Resources Previous experience as a Recruiter with a focus on cleared positions (a plus if within the offensive cyber industry) Experience using HRIS & ATS systems (Paycor is a plus) Experience using candidate sourcing tools (Clearance Jobs and LinkedIn Recruiter Lite is a plus) Proven track record of successfully sourcing and placing candidates in technical roles within the cybersecurity field. Strong understanding of general HR principles and practices, including employee relations, performance management, and compliance. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage multiple priorities. Willingness to learn and grow in their role. HR certification - not required, but a plus.
