Job description

This position is in Laredo, TX. Sign-On Bonus available. Relocation assistance up to $5,000.00.

Performs occupational therapy evaluation and treatment in both outpatient and acute inpatient settings.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Performs occupational therapy assessments once physician's orders are received
  • Provides written evaluation and plan of care to the physician
  • Reassesses patient monthly to update plan of care
  • Provides supervision to COTAs and other support staff
  • Must continously improve OT knowledge & skills

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Occupational Therapy.
  • TX State Occupational Therapy License required.
  • Current CPR certification required.
  • Ability to serve as a lead worker to subordinate personnel and the ability to assume supervisoryresponsibilities in the absence of the Director.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain a positive, courteous attitude.
  • Continued employment is contingent on successfully maintaining current required certification(s) and/or license(s).
