We've got what you're looking for. Job Description: We are seeking a versatile and motivated Database Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a subset of the following skills, with a willingness to learn and grow in other areas. This role involves collaborating with team members to develop and maintain high-quality software solutions, ensuring comprehensive testing, and providing support in ticket creation and documentation. This position requires the employee to work onsite at a classified Government facility on Port San Antonio three days a week. Key Responsibilities: Contribute to the development and maintenance of software applications.
Collaborate with team members to design, develop, and deploy high-quality software solutions
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Troubleshoot and resolve software issues.
Contribute to continuous improvement of development and deployment processes.
Create and manage tickets in Jira and assist other team members in their ticket creation.
Document processes and projects in Confluence. Minimum Requirements: Must possess an active Secret clearance
Must have a Bachelor's Degree OR have an additional 4 years of experience in lieu of a degree
Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience with PostgreSQL
Knowledge of database design principals and normalization
Experience with database optimization of medium sized (10+million records) databases
Experience with Extract Transform and Load (ETL) pipelines
Experience with Amazon RDS
Proficiency in ticket creation and management using Jira
Ability to create and maintain documentation in Confluence Preferred Qualifications: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Experience with agile development methodologies
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
Familiarity with Git, Docker, ORMs, RESTful APIs, Java, JDBC, SpringBoot, JPA, Hibernate, Junit Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Secret This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.
