Job description

Business Development & Operations Manager X8 is looking for a cleared Business Development professional. This unique role combines the thrill of driving new business opportunities with the strategic oversight of optimizing internal operations. You will be responsible for identifying and securing profitable partnerships, managing key accounts, and streamlining internal processes to ensure efficient growth and scalability to grow the X8 footprint. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
• Conduct market research, identify new business opportunities, and qualify potential leads.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with partners and clients.
• Monitor and analyze competitor activity, identifying areas for differentiation.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and market shifts, adapting strategies accordingly.
• Monitor program progress, identify, and address potential issues proactively.
• Manage risks and dependencies across multiple projects within the program.
• Communicate effectively with management and stakeholders, providing regular updates on operational performance.
• Lead and manage program teams, fostering collaboration and effective communication.
• Lead and motivate a team of operations professionals, providing coaching and performance development.
• Support other departments as needed to achieve company goals. WHAT REQUIRED SKILLS YOU'LL BRING
• Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Project Management, System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline
• Experience in a business development and operations management role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
• Strong understanding of process improvement methodologies.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in project management methodologies and CRM software.
• Ability to prioritize effectively and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software MINIMUM CLEARANCE REQUIRED
• Current and Active Top Secret SCI w/Polygraph COMPENSATION
