Job Details Job Description This is position supports the Air Force Cyber Assessment Team (AFCAT) in the 688th Cyberspace Wing and conducts Cyber Operational Readiness Assessments (CORA) at Air Force locations around the world. These assessments will help strengthen the posture and resiliency of the DoD Information Network (DODIN) by supporting commanders and directors in their efforts to harden their information systems, reduce the attack surface of their cyber terrain, and enhance a more proactive defense. Program Managers will coordinate and manage all activities related to CORA scheduling, preparation, execution, and reporting. This role helps ensure Air Force compliance and effectiveness in cyber defense strategies. Key Tasks and Responsibilities From PWS/SOW
•Schedule annual CORAs for nominated bases, both scheduled and no-notice, in alignment with Air Force strategic priorities.
•Track and maintain records of previous assessments and scores, as well as current cybersecurity vulnerabilities and scores.
•Stay informed on 688 CW/CC, AFCYBER/CC, and larger Air Force strategic priorities to inform base selection for CORAs.
•Collaborate with wing missions to mitigate major mission disruptions during CORA scheduling.
•Track re-assessments for bases that fail CORAs and scheduling re-assessments accordingly.
•Assist bases in CORA preparation upon scheduling by DODIN or Air Force.
•Establish regular teleconferences with base comm squadron leadership to identify issues and inform commanders on risk.
•Advocate with wing organizations for access to enterprise assets and capabilities to prepare for CORA.
•Assist bases with access to templates for Plans of Action and Milestones (POAMs), timelines, and memos necessary for CORA success.
•Support the CORA team with logistics for travel and lodging.
•Track completion of members' day-to-day activities related to CORA preparation, execution, and reporting.
•Set assessment schedules for each assessment.
•Determine, in conjunction with supervisor, the technology areas to focus personal training on and when to enter into the program for required training.
•Ensure all team member certification requirements are up to date, including a minimum of 4 assessments per technology area each fiscal year.
•Contractor shall utilize appropriate tools and methodologies based on JFHQ-DODIN standard processes and procedures.
•Support daily assessment meetings to track progress and provide summaries to base leadership and 688 CW leadership.
•Participate in regular teleconferences with base comm squadron leadership to identify issues and inform commanders on risk.
•Provide written feedback on process update recommendations.
•Complete additional supervisory and administrative tasks as required.
•Complete other duties as assigned. Job Requirements: Education & Experience
•Requires a bachelor's degree (or equivalent) +5 years of experience, or 10+ years of related experience
•Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Must have excellent critical thinking skills Certifications Desired: o Program Management Professional (PMP) o ITIL v4 Foundation Security Clearance Required: o Must have active Secret clearance with ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility Desired: o Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility
