Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead with 8 to 14 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in AWS Angular and Node.js. This role offers a hybrid work model with day shifts and no travel requirements.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of scalable and secure cloud solutions using AWS.

Oversee the development of front-end applications using Angular to ensure high performance and responsiveness.

Provide expertise in Node.js for back-end development to create robust and efficient server-side applications.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements ensuring alignment with business goals.

Ensure the integration of various systems and applications maintaining seamless data flow and functionality.

Mentor and guide junior developers fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues minimizing downtime and ensuring system reliability.

Develop and maintain technical documentation to support ongoing development and maintenance efforts.

Implement and enforce security best practices to protect sensitive data and systems.

Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation and efficiency.

Work closely with stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions that meet or exceed expectations.

Optimize application performance and scalability to handle increasing user loads and data volumes.

Qualifications

Possess a strong background in AWS Angular and Node.js with proven project experience.

Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.

Exhibit strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

Display a commitment to continuous learning and staying current with industry trends.

Have a track record of successfully leading technical projects and delivering high-quality solutions.

Demonstrate the ability to mentor and guide junior developers fostering a collaborative team environment.

Show proficiency in developing and maintaining technical documentation.

Exhibit a strong understanding of security best practices and their implementation.

Possess excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.

Have a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential issues before they become critical.

Show a commitment to optimizing application performance and scalability.

Demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model with minimal supervision.

Certifications Required

Good to have: AWS Certified Solutions Architect

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $100,000 to $132,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
