Job description
• Only qualified Scientist-Senior Technician candidates located near the Plano, TX area to be considered due to the position requiring a 100% onsite presence
This position is located at an R&D facility and is part of the Measurement Sciences (Analytical & QA Sciences) team. This Scientist-Senior Technician will perform biopolymers associated compounds analysis, including dietary fiber, beta-glucan, protein, and oil etc. testing for R&D and operation groups. The primary responsibility is to accurately determine dietary fiber and/or beta-glucan content of targeted analytes by established sample preparation processes, standardized methods, routine equipment operations, data collection and interpretations. Additional responsibilities include instrument trouble-shooting, recording and reporting data into a laboratory information management system.
