Job Description

Looking for an experienced Payments and Technology Manager to lead our innovative payments technology team. This role is pivotal in driving the design, development, and implementation of cutting-edge payment solutions that align with our strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in payment systems, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of delivering complex projects within the financial services industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Strategy:
    • Lead and manage a team of payment technology professionals, including developers, analysts, and project managers.
    • Develop and execute the technology roadmap for payments, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements.
    • Collaborate with senior leadership to define and implement payment strategies that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
  • Project Management:
    • Oversee the end-to-end delivery of payment technology projects, from conception to deployment, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
    • Manage the integration of new payment systems and technologies, including APIs, gateways, and emerging payment methods.
  • Technology Oversight:
    • Ensure the robustness, security, and scalability of payment platforms, managing ongoing maintenance and upgrades.
    • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to ensure to client remains at the forefront of payment innovations.
    • Collaborate with IT security teams to ensure compliance with all relevant cybersecurity standards and protocols.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including compliance, operations, and product management, to deliver seamless payment solutions.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and external partners regarding payment technology initiatives.
  • Risk & Compliance:
    • Ensure all payment systems and processes comply with regulatory requirements and Client's internal policies.
    • Identify and mitigate risks associated with payment technologies, implementing best practices for security and data protection.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in payment systems, financial technology, or a similar role within the banking industry.
  • Proven experience leading and managing technology teams, with a strong focus on payments.
  • In-depth knowledge of payment processing, including ACH, wire transfers, credit card processing, and emerging payment technologies.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance issues related to payment systems (e.g., PCI DSS, PSD2).
  • Excellent project management skills, with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to think strategically while managing the details of project execution.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud-based payment solutions and API integrations.
  • Knowledge of Agile and DevOps methodologies.
  • Certifications in project management (PMP, PRINCE2) or payments (e.g., Accredited ACH Professional).

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range : Between $55/hr - $65/hr on w2 >

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
