Client: CVS Pharmacy with Cognizant (pls follow CTS Submittal format while submitting) Job Title: Java FSE w/ GCP DeveloperLocation: Plano, TX or Woonsocket, RI# of Positions: 5 Max Bill Rate: $70/hr Length of Assignment: 1 year Interview Process: 1 internal + 1 coding round + 1 client round w/ coding - please follow the below instructions for all interviews: 1. Headphones are NOT allowed Job Summary:o Java 8 + GCP Experience is must!Experience developing microservices and cloud native apps using Java/J2EE, REST APIs, Spring Core, Spring MVC Framework, Spring Boot Framework JPA (Java Persistence API) (Or any other ORM), Spring Security and similar tech stacks (Open source and proprietary)Experience working with Unit testing using framework such as Junit, Mockito, JBehaveBuild and deploy services using Gradle, Maven, Jenkins etc. as part of CI/CD processExperience working in Google Cloud Platform Experience with any Relational Database (Oracle, PostgreSQL etc.) Experience:Overall 10+ years of professional experience Top 5 Must Haves:1. Java2. Springboot3. Microservices4. Cloud5. GCP Required Soft skills:Designing, developing, and implementing custom software and database application capabilities with limited oversightExcellent communication skills design-related conversations, ability to build and nurture good relationships and foster an environment for collaborationActing as a member of the team supporting teammates and collaborating with a do what it takes attitude to ensure project and team successRoles & Responsibilities:Be part of a team of engineers in developing elegant and high performant codeEnsure quality practices unit testing, code reviews / leading testsOptimize application for non-functional requirements Build and deploy components as part of CI/CD processWill be responsible for end-to-end application delivery including coordination with required teams for production deploymentContinuously monitors application health and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), support triage of any production issues as and when neededCollaborate in troubleshooting complex data, features, service, platform issues and perform root cause analysis to proactively resolve product and operational issuesBe an advocate of security best practices, champion and support the importance of security within engineering IMPORTANT UPDATESIf candidates do not show or ask to reschedule an accepted internal interview, they may be immediately Disqualified.F2F client round is now mandatory for all candidates who pass L1 in one of the following locations:o Woonsocket, RI Hartford, CT Richardson, TX NYC Floram Park, NJ Chantilly, VA Alpharetta, GA Phoenix, AZLocal candidates to Woonsocket and Richardson will be preferred.Local to Woonsocket will be highly preferred and take top priority.We can go up to $10 higher on rate if candidates are local to Woonsocket, RI.
