Job description

Seeking a Compliance Technical Writer local to the Plano, TX area.

TOP SKILLS REQUIRED:

1. Strong understanding of SOX compliance requirements and IT control frameworks

2. In-depth understanding of various IT systems, networks, databases, and software applications.

3.Understanding of API design, development, and management to facilitate system interactions.

4. Familiarity with industry standards for technical writing, including formatting, style guides, and version control.

5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Role Responsibilities

- Serve as CTX SOX system engineer to assist high-risk/high-visibility applications by creating or modifying SOX dataflow/process flow diagrams and control narratives, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.

- Maintain CTX SOX Playbook and implement monitoring/automation for hyperlinks and updating content as new policies/procedures are announced or new best practices are established.

- Create and maintain CTX SOX-focused SharePoint site, including contact lists, documentation, templates, and any other necessary information.

- Enable the delivery of SOX training as needed for specialized guidance calls on specific SOX topics. Coordinate with the SMEs in PMO, CSO, or PLE to identify, plan and schedule the sessions.

- Enable automated tracking for completion of SOX audit requests.

Requires intermediate-level experience:

- Hands-on function that ultimately results in the delivery of an application or service.

- Responsible for translating core architecture for business requirements into the final technical solution (consisting of platform, network, software, cloud, etc.) through functional, performance, and reliability analysis using engineering models and techniques, primarily through software development throughout the vertical stack.

- Defines designs: Provides technical enablement for application components and subsystems for an Application(s). Drives important design decisions for the development teams.
