Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Murphy, TX
SUMMARY:
Provides one on one and small group behavioral intervention services to children with special needs. The center is open 8:00-5:30PM Monday through Friday. No need to work evening or weekends.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide direct ABA therapy to children with Autism and other developmental disorders in the clinic, home, and community settings as directed
• Provide parent, teacher, and staff training on the principles of ABA and behavior modification
• Provide training and supervision to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts (BCABAs)
• Conduct functional behavioral assessments/analyses
• Conduct verbal behavior/language assessments
• Develop individualized treatment plans (e.g., goals, objectives, and interventions) and monitor client progress towards goals
• Consult and collaborate with schools, daycares, medical professionals, and other pediatric disciplines as needed
• Assist with administrative tasks and oversight of the ABA department (including ensuring compliance with insurance requirements for session notes, treatment plans, supervision, treatment authorizations, RBT requirements, etc.)
• Completes and maintain BACB-approved supervision course and keeps registration to the BACB current
• Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior.
• Prepares and reviews progress notes as needed to ensure compliance with company expectations
• Effectively and professionally communicate with parents regarding client progress, as instructed by the BCBA and/or center manager.
• Adhere to positive behavior support procedures when developing treatment plans
• Maintains client confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA laws and BACB standards
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work and therapy environment
• Collaborate with treatment team, including client, parents and caregivers, and coworkers
• Maintain and acquire technical knowledge by attending required trainings, including staff and client meetings
• Understand and adhere to established policies and procedures
• Immediately reports any client or parent incidents or complaints to Owners
• Provide initial and ongoing staff training on client behavioral and skill acquisition protocols
• Facilitate communication and collaboration between all members of a client s team, including staff and parents
• Update and maintain data collection systems and disseminate information to team

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Required: Master s Degree and Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Certification
• Required: Enrollment in or completion of coursework in BCBA supervision
• Required: Experience of at least three years working in the field of ABA
• Preferred: Completion of a crisis management program to address severe behaviors
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
• BLS/CPR certification
