Well established company with a family atmosphere and great work environment is seeking an experienced 5 year commercial roofing estimator/project manager to join their team.

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Estimator/Project Manager with over 5 years of commercial roofing experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating project costs and managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.

Responsibilities:


  • Prepare accurate and timely cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, and equipment costs.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for project estimates.
  • Review project plans, specifications, and requirements to ensure accurate estimates.
  • Evaluate and analyze bids from subcontractors and suppliers to determine the most cost-effective solutions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure successful project completion.
  • Coordinate with project teams to resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during construction.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Qualifications:


  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in roofing construction estimating and project management
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management ideal but not required.
  • Bi-lingual a plus
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and techniques.
  • Proficiency in construction estimating software and project management tools.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
