Job description

We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated individual to fill the contractor position of GSCM Systems Support Specialist within our GSCM Systems Support team based in Midland TX. This position is responsible for supporting the integrity and standardization of all transactions between Ariba and SAP (S/4 HANA), reporting to the Supply Chain System Support Team Lead. This role is vital in making sure that Ariba transactions are functioning properly and maintained, as well as assisting to troubleshoot any issues. Additionally, this position will support Supply Chain processes configured within SAP.

Roles & Responsibilities:
â Prioritize, define scenarios, document, and communicate the findings and recommendations of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) in a timely manner to ensure the solution meets the businesses requirements and expectations
â Monitor, prioritize, and troubleshoot incoming incident tickets assigned to the GSCM Systems Support team and ensure prompt and effective communication throughout the incident lifecycle
â Identify and prioritize any defects or enhancements that need to be addressed in Ariba and SAP
â Liaise within SCM, AP, Ops, IT, Ariba/SAP Support, and suppliers to resolve any issues experienced by users and suppliers in Ariba and SAP
â Act as a control point, enforcing data consistency across Ariba and SAP
â Serve as the first line of support for end-user queries, issues, and problems related to SAP and Ariba.
â Participate actively in team meetings and contribute to problem-solving discussions for prompt resolutions.
Required Qualifications:
â Bachelor's degree (Supply Chain, IT, or Business Administration preferred) or equivalent work experience.
â Strong communication skills and ability to seamlessly collaborate with multiple teams to update, enhance, and troubleshoot configurations to interface effectively and appropriately across functions with various levels of seniority.
â Capable of working independently with minimal guidance and well adaptable to change.
â Excellent proficiency in time management and ability to assess and resolve tasks in a timely manner.
â Experience in Microsoft Office; advanced Excel skills
â Ability to promptly learn new systems, processes, and applications.

Desired Qualifications:
â Familiarity with company systems and organizational environment
o Ariba Network, Contracts Management, & Supplier Lifecycle and Performance
o SAP S/4 Procurement experience
â SQL experience in MS SQL Server and S/4 HANA
