Job Summary: Raytheon is seeking a Material Program Manager (MPM) who is a strong leader with demonstrated proposal writing skills and interest in providing very hands-on involvement. The MPM will be highly motivated and capable of developing and achieving organizational and program objectives and be able to successfully interface with all levels of internal management. This role is in Airborne Spectrum Dominance which is focused on cutting edge design and development. This position will involve capital, IRAD, and general procurements and focus heavily on supplier sourcing and strategies to transfer follow on business to the business units. This is an individual contributor role who will be able to exert influence on the overall objectives and long-range goals of the program and the program IPT team. This role will be the primary point of contact to management and internal customers which include the Program Office, Quality, Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Contracts. What You Will Do: Leading all programs' supply chain activities Advising the program management office and leadership team on material strategies and plans Developing and managing quick turn proposals (Airborne Spectrum Dominance frequently has 10 & 30 day proposal turn times) Managing IRADs, CRADs, capital programs, and customer funded contracts across multiple sites Executing make/buy/where process Guiding multiple functions on developing Supplier Statement of Work (SSOWs) and ensuring adherence to Raytheon policies Developing and executing Material Program Plans and Subcontract Management Plans (together with the Subcontract Administrator) Serving as the liaison between the Program Executive, Program Managers, IPTs and the Supply Chain organization Represent the Supply Chain organization on policies, strategies, and objectives Overseeing all SCM activities needed to meet program requirements, and ensuring a strong link within and between various Supply Chain functions, including Sourcing, Logistics, and Production Control Working closely with Engineering, Quality, and Operations to create a common schedule based on Material Requirements Planning (MRP) Developing and executing risk/opportunity plans to meet program objectives Monitoring and proactively addressing performance and financial metrics including those related to cost, schedule, quality, and EVMS. Qualifications You Must Have: Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years' experience Experience collaborating with all functions to develop Statements of Work (SOW) Prior work experience in the Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Work, and/or PowerPoint Experience in supply chain and related systems, procurement, MRP, receiving, cost estimating, and/or finance The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance Qualifications We Prefer: Supplier management experience (PO placement, proposal reviews, Best Value Source Selections, Competition) Earned Value Management Systems Certification Material Program Management Certification Excellent communication and presentation skills Demonstrate initiative, perseverance, and creativity in problem solving Working knowledge of US Government acquisition laws and regulations (FAR/DFARS, ITAR, EAR) Experience as a Cost Account Manager for Material Estimate at Complete (EACs) and Material Forecasting Experience implementing continuous improvement, CORE, Six Sigma, Lean methodologies/principals Possession of a DOD SECRET Security Clearance (current within past 5 years) What We Offer

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
